If you've got videos uploaded on YouTube, one way to optimize these videos is by adding closed captioning or subtitles to them. It takes a bit of time to do, but the effort you put into this will pay off in spades.
Aside from the obvious benefits of subtitles, the most important one in my opinion is: Google can read the subtitles assigned to your YouTube videos (because they are text!), and will help people discover your videos based on what they're searching for. Without subtitles, Google relies on what your video's title, description, and tags are to help people find it... when you add Subtitles, it's a whole other layer of search engine optimization that will help increase your views.
If you don't know how to create Subtitles tracks for your YouTube videos, this guide should help.
